White Cube's Most Wanted

On January 27th, one of our favorite artists, Richard Phillips, opens his latest solo show “Most Wanted” at London’s White Cube gallery. It consists of ten large-scale (two-meter tall!) portraits of young, powerful, and glamorous stars: Robert Pattinson, Taylor Swift, Zac Efron, Dakota Fanning, Kristen Stewart, and Leonardo DiCaprio, to name a few. Richard provokes questions about these superstars as brand figureheads and the power of celebrity branding to shape the face of our future.

Mr. Brainwash: Icons

Los Angeles based French street artist, Mr. Brainwash (aka Thierry Guetta), celebrated his first solo show in New York last night with a private opening for all of the beautiful people. This body of work is the result of traveling throughout Europe and the United States as the subject of Banksy's new documentary, Exit Through the Gift Shop. Held in a two story converted gallery space the show features pop portraits, prints, and engaging large scale sculptures. Be among the first 300 guests in attendance at 3pm this Sunday, February 14th when the show opens to the public and receive a limited edition signed Mr. Brainwash print!
