Now open, The Frick's new exhibition, Picasso's Drawings, 1980-1921: Reinventing Tradition, gives superb insight into the progression of Picasso through his drawings. From his academic training reinventing previous masters to his iconic late works, the show highlights the importance of the medium to his cubist style. Not only are the drawings stunning but it seems impossible the simple lines could evoke such intense characters and personalities. The show will be on view through January 8th.
