World-renowned fashion designer Helmut Lang is diving head first into the art world this summer, debuting his first ever solo exhibition at The Fireplace Project in East Hampton. In a controversial decision, Lang shred the last 6,000 garments in his personal design archive to create the twelve sculptures that make up the exhibition, entitled Make It Hard.
