Framed: Stuart Haygarth
Many thanks to Stuart Haygarth for sending images of his newest installation, Framed. Realized in conjunction with this year's London Design Festival, the artwork will be on display at the Victoria & Albert Museum from September 18th until the 26th. Mekanism Skateboards x Anselm Reyle
Ride or View? German artist Anselm Reyle collaborates with Mekanism Skateboards to create a skateboard deck artwork that contrasts two different artistic eras through color. Reyle uses neon pink, which recalls posters of psychedelic and punk scenes of the 70s and 80s against a muddy brown that can be seen in Postwar Abstract Expressionism. Mekanism skateboard decks and Anselm Reyle’s color choices make for a sporty and edgy canvas.

Barry McGee x Josh Lazcano on the Bowery
Notice a change on Bowery & Houston? We hope so. Barry McGee & Josh Lazcano have taken over the Deitch wall space that has played host to various artists (Shepard Fairey, Os Gemeos, Keith Haring) in the past. Barry & Josh have covered the wall with the signatures of some of the most prominent graffiti masters of our time, topping it off with their very own names. We suggest you stop by the mural and hope that it brings a smile to your faces, even in this heat.
