The Brandt Foundation Art Study Center Celebrates Inaugural Exhibition

With the mission of promoting the study of contemporary art and design this weekend marks the opening of the inaugural exhibition at The Brandt Foundation Art Study Center in Greenwich, Connecticut. Designed by Richard Gluckman the center's first show, titled Remembering Henry's Show, Selected Works 1978-2008, references the 1969 Metropolitan Museum of Art's New York Painting and Sculpture 1940–1970 curated by the late Henry Geldzahler. Included are artworks by the likes of Francesco Clemente, Urs Fischer, Jeff Koons, Richard Prince, Julian Schnabel, Cindy Sherman and Christopher Wool among others now available for educational purposes. Following the exhibition preview and artist reception this Saturday, May 9th, the center will be open by appointment.
