NYC Is Going Gaga!

In wake of tonight's highly anticipated Gaga's Workshop open at Barneys New York, brightly colored Gaga art installations are popping up all over the city! A collaboration between Lady Gaga, Barneys New York, and artists assume vivid astro focus, billboards, motorcycles, inflatable balloons and even a taxi (pictured) all with Gaga inspired designs are just a few of the items causing a buzz. Daphne Guinness on Display at Barneys

In preparation for the annual Met Costume Institute Gala to honor this year's Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition, Daphne Guinness was the subject of a fashion-meets-art installation in the Madison Avenue windows of Barneys New York. Appearing first in a glorious gold ensemble, she slipped behind a screen to change into her feathered McQueen frock. The appearance marks the beginning of a six-week collaborative installation with Guinness to showcase pieces from her personal wardrobe collection, as well as the collection of the late Isabella Blow, all at Barneys New York. At the end of the performance Daphne was escorted off to the gala in a Mercedes Benz convertible, so as not to be fashionably late!
