Lisa Eisner x Tod's Fay

Now at the Padiglione d'Arte Contemporanea in Milan one of the most fashionable photographers we know, Lisa Eisner, shows a series of new portraits. From Ed Ruscha to Rene Russo each of the notable subjects shares Eisner's flair with equally impressive style. Commissioned by Italian outerwear company Fay, the exhibition runs in conjunction with the brand's Spring/Summer 2011 presentation.

RTSW

Cy Twombly, The Rose (IV). 2001. Tourism Development & Investment Company of Abu Dhabi has connected famed curator Anne Baldassari with renowned collector Larry Gagosian in order to present RSTW: Rauchenberg, Ruscha, Serra, Twombly, Warhol and Wool. The exhibition draws from Gagosian's legendary collection to present not only a show of otherworldly proportions, but it also an interesting portrait of the collector himself. RTSW will be in the Manarat Al Saadiyat space on Abu Dhabi's Saadiyat Island.

RxArt Coloring Book

Last night RxArt celebrated the launch of the second volume of their coloring book Between the Lines with Mickalene Thomas, Inka Essenhigh, and Wade Guyton at a book signing at Gagosian Shop. Featuring over 50 original commissioned line drawings and a series of stickers the diverse roster includes today's best-known contemporary artists: Takashi Murakami, Ed Ruscha, Raymond Pettibon, and Karen Kilimnik, to name a few. Between the Lines is distributed free of charge to children in RxArt's participating health care facilities as an extension of their philosophy to provide creative outlets to relieve patient anxiety about illness.
