The farewell dinner for Jeffrey Deitch was full of heartfelt toasts and performances, including Rosson Crow singing a phenomenal number in what could be the start of the artist's second coming.

Opera Meets Fashion at the W

The W Hotel's Global Fashion Director, Amanda Ross, pictured with New York City Opera Artistic Director George Steel, hosted a cocktail preview for the DIVA's annual Shop for Opera event, taking place May 20th. 25 designers will showcase exclusive sketches inspired by their favorite opera characters to be offered at auctioned. Bringing together both fashion and opera enthusiasts proceeds will go to the New York City Opera.

Rolls Royce x Friends With You for N.E.R.D.

Pharrell and N.E.R.D. collaborated with Miami based design collective, Friends With You, for the extra colorful artwork painted across a classic Rolls Royce from their "Hot 'N Fun" video.

Slick Rick

Synonymous with coveted leather jackets and meticulously draped and sewn clothing, Rick Owens has transitioned his expertise into a new vein, furniture design. Still in his trademark monotone color palette, Owens has managed to put together some of the most extraordinarily luxe yet minimalist pieces for the home. Currently on show at Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn's Salon 94 in NYC and his first U.S. exhibition, Pavane for a Dead Princess yields a small bedroom installation based on the designer's very own living quarters. Owens has managed to install a 2 ton alabaster bed, a curtain of sheared mink, abstracted lighting, bronzed stools with emerging abstract horns, and a marble and wood chaise. On view until June 25, this furniture is on the same level of must-have as his desirable pieces that corset the bodies of the cooler crowd.
